Cigar Review: Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Real

Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Real

In my first ever post for 30nothings I review a classic cigar brand, Romeo Y Julieta. I consider this brand my “go to” brand as I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad Romeo Y Julieta. This particular smoke is a Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Real. I only had this smoke in my box for a couple weeks before I decided to light it up. Watch the video below as I discuss the look of the smoke and the flavors.

Specs
Name: Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real

Excellent first review — I hope that you keep them coming. Romeo y Julietas are typically my go-to cigar as well. Would love to see you continue reviewing your favorites, and giving us your first impressions of new cigars. Maybe an exposé on the contents of your humidor.

Thanks for the response and feedback, Thomas. I like your suggestions for future blog posts. I appreciate it. How often do you smoke and what other brands do you like besides Romeo Y Julietas?

Kerel – Love it! I love the laid back nature. Informative and a entertaining. Can’t wait to see more from you. Definitely stick with reviewing your favorites as you know them better than anything new. Then branch out.

I’d like to see your take on some of my favorites like BrickHouse or El Baton. Easy to find, easy on the wallet and solid staples in my humidor.

Thanks Jerry! Your feedback means a lot. I’ll def take a look at BrickHouse or El Baton. Thanks for those recommendations. In 2009 when I was in Barbados I went to the Royal Barbados Cigars factory. Got a tour of the place and smoked a couple cigars. Not sure if you ever had these cigars but I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. I’m thinking about recapping my visit as my next post.
